Event: IOPC and The Vavengers

The IOPC and our member service The Vavengers have partnered to hold a free, in-person event in London on 30th January 2025.

This event, hosted by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), provides a unique opportunity to share your experiences regarding how victims and survivors are treated by the police when reporting incidents of violence against women and girls. It is a chance to voice your opinions on how survivors should be supported and to explore ways to improve their experience within the police complaints system.

The session will also offer valuable insights into how the IOPC investigates serious and sensitive police complaints, ensuring accountability and fairness. You will gain knowledge on supporting survivors through the complaints process and understanding the role of the IOPC in maintaining standards and independence in its investigations.

Book to attend the session on Thursday 30th January at 9:30am – 3pm here.
